The Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter still retains much of the old appearance of Kurashiki, which became a feudal lord in the 19th year of the Kan'ei era. A series of merchant houses with lattice windows and sea cucumber walls, and a ridgeline of dark tiles bordering the sky. The willows swaying along the riverbank, reflecting its image, and the unchanging atmosphere and passing of time have captivated visitors.

It was established in 1957 in a town that is steeped in history, tradition, and the atmosphere of good old Japan. The building that welcomes customers is a renovated former sugar wholesaler's mansion and storehouse built in the Edo period. Traditional taste and high-quality relaxation that gently wraps your heart. Please enjoy a rich time according to your heart. Ryokan Kurashiki welcomes you with the hospitality that has been passed down from generation to generation.
